I’ve just finished devouring the other two novellas put out by Seizure this year and thought I would add a short note about each of them here. If you like short books here are two brand new, highly entertaining gems to sink your teeth into.
Jane Rawson’s Formaldehyde
I loved this strange book about identity, love and lost time. It is written with an enviable assurdedness and its strong voice kept me turning pages. It’s funny, punchy and filled with pop culture references. If you are looking for something a bit different to read I would highly recommend it.

Marlee Jane Ward’s Welcome to Orphancorp
For me, reading this book was a cross between the remembered pleasure of staying up much too late to finish a particularly compelling book as a teenager and binging on Orange Is The New Black. A thoroughly enjoyable read.
Purchase any of the novellas from this, or one of the previous, year’s Viva La Novella Prize.
